Rairyu, are you re-working/scanning what is your own original calligraphic brushwork - or are you maybe re:creating calligraphy using non-traditional methods? Do you do your brushwork first on paper? Or is the screen become your paper? Interesting to note that in whichever application you choose to write - the intrinsic meaning (and power) within each symbol is retained and the 'beauty' of the writing still 'flows', still dances....:)

Thank you for your question!
I transferred traditional Japanese calligraphy to the digital art and wanted to create a mix of old and new.
To begin I draw on paper and then stand in a digital format. I don `t know about everyone but maybe it's a something new..=)
Each figure is the character that actually exists( Japanese kanji ). I try to choose characters that have been used a few thousand years ago.
They are very similar to the real picture and not knowing the meaning is easy to guess what is depicted!
