Waves

Poem by Juhan Liiv
„Dont`t push me so hard!”
said one wave to another.
„Why do you always push me?
Leave me alone.”

„I`m not pushing anyone,
I`m being pushed.
The sea is full of us,
my opposition is futile.”

(1911)
