Waves, Where Do You Hurry

Poem by Juhan Liiv
Waves, where do you hurry
purling in a creek,
brinking toward the sun,
lisping against the flowery bank?

We hurry to the sea,
we dance in golden sunlight,
running blue under the sky,
disappearing in a mist.
